The Ohio Environmental Council will be sponsoring three educational forums on shale gas fracking in Northeast Ohio this summer. The forums will cover the current state of regulation and science on high-volume, horizontal fracturing and its effects. The forums will include basic information for a wide audience, as well as in-depth discussion with Ohio experts on fracking issues. The main focus of the series will be to discuss the importance of citizen involvement and how to comment on proposed Ohio Department of Natural Resources rules.
The forums are FREE and Open to the Public but RSVP is requested. Beverages and a light lunch will be served.
